Asahi Mountains Range
The Asahi Mountain Range, which is representative of Bandai Asahi National Park, has area over 60 km north and south. It located at Yamagata Prefecture and on the border with Niigata Prefecture. The main peak is Mt.Oasahi at an altitude of 1,870 m. Primitive landscapes such as abundant alpine plants and virgin forests are calling popularity of mountaineers.
